General Terms and Conditions of Sale – CCover

1. Seller

2. Custom product — no right of withdrawal

The CCover mouthguard is custom made from the Client's dental impression. In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Economic Law Code, products made to the consumer's specifications do not benefit from the 14-day right of withdrawal. By validating their order, the Client acknowledges being informed of this before the impression is taken.

3. Warranty

The mouthguard comes with a legal conformity warranty of 2 years from the date of delivery (Belgian law, minimum requirement), for any manufacturing defect existing at the time of delivery.

The warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear related to sports use,
  • damage resulting from improper use, non-compliant maintenance or intentional alteration of the product,
  • damage resulting from biting the product,
  • a mouthguard that has suffered an impact: like a motorcycle helmet, it must be replaced after any significant impact, even without visible damage — for the safety of the Client, not just for warranty reasons.

4. Conditions of use

  • The mouthguard is intended exclusively for sports practice.
  • It is forbidden to bite it: this prematurely damages it and voids the warranty.
  • Never leave it soaking in a glass of water or any other liquid, except for cleaning.
  • It must be replaced after sustaining a shock (see article 3).

5. Cleaning and maintenance

  • Clean the mouthguard after each use, with a toothbrush and toothpaste only.
  • Do not put it in the washing machine or dishwasher.
  • Store it in its protective case, in a dry place, at room temperature.

6. Instructions for use

Before each training session or competition, place the mouthguard in your mouth and check that it fits well and is stable.

7. Delivery

The mouthguard is handed over to the Client either in person (the Client is contacted via WhatsApp to arrange a collection point), or by home delivery, depending on the choice made at the time of order. The manufacturing and delivery time is 10 working days from the impression taken at the partner dental practice; this time may be extended during periods of high demand. Delivery charges of 10 euros for Europe and 15 euros for outside will be charged additionally.

8. Adjustment after delivery

If the mouthguard is too tight upon receipt, an adjustment can be made at a partner dentist. The first adjustment is free. If dental treatment has occurred between the impression taking and delivery, a consultation fee will be charged, or a new impression will be required at the Client's expense.

9. Liability

CCover disclaims any responsibility in the event of injury or inconvenience resulting from non-compliance with these conditions (biting, lack of replacement after impact, non-compliant maintenance). This limitation does not apply in the case of a manufacturing defect covered by the legal warranty (article 3).

10. Personal data

The dental impression is taken and stored by the partner dental practice, which is a separate data controller for this health data. CCover only receives the digital model necessary for the production of the product. See our [Privacy Policy].

11. Applicable law

These general terms and conditions are subject to Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of [judicial district] are competent, without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring the case before the jurisdiction of their domicile.
